Whooops! Someone forgot to tighten a rod bolt.

It is at this point that I'm going to take the opportunity to let everyone know that the record speed for the Silver State Challenge is held by a Chrysler LeBaron.

Yeah, but its so far from a LeBaron it's not. It's a LeBaron-bodied NASCAR busche series race car. So, actually It's not a LeBaron.

Yeah, yeah, I know.

It does show that it is a quite aerodynamic car though.

I'm still amazed that he walked away from that. Truly very cool.

No.. Not really... It's got a body similar to those you see on the 'Lumina' and 'Taurus' Cars in NASCAR... It's just got the name of the car and 'styling' cues to make it look somewhat like a LeBaron.

It's obviously got a Carbureted V8 of 357ci mated to a 4 speed manual. Like the Chevy and Ford counter parts... it's nothing near the original car. Only thing it shares is the Name.

Hmm, I wonder what it looks like, cuase' I do have a picture somewhere of a LeBaron that was driven on the salt flats that went a lot faster than 208 and it had a stock LeBaron body on it.
