Question Hot or Cold?

Obnoxious hypothetical situation:

If you had to choose, would you rather be uncomfortably hot, or uncomfortably cold? Not dangerously hot or cold, just enough to make you shiver or sweat.

And don't say one and then tell how you would remedy it, i.e. say cold, then just put on more clothes. You have to just suffer with it.

I'd pick hot. I hate shivering. Once I start, I can't control it. I'd rather sweat and just lie still. :sun:

What about you?

I'd rather be chilly. I can't stand being too hot. I guess I'm just a canuck at heart!

I’d rather be too cold. I hate being too hot and you can only take so many clothes off!

I'd rather be cold in such a situation. Although, I do prefer to be too hot at night. Crank up the heater, close the windows. Hmm...interesting question Jay!

I love the cold.

I like keeping it nice and chilly in my room and everwhere. I always get yelled at for turning the thermostat down too low at home [old ppl love to have the heat cranked way up]

I hate being all hot and sweaty, makes me feel all drousy and sick

So, what's the difference? Why not pick hot, then, and just go to sleep?

Because my reason for cranking up the heater at night is a situational preference, not a generalized one for the hypothetical situation you proposed.

Now, now Towlie...you're treading on dangerous ground.

I would prefer to be cold. I like to be cold and when it is cold I can fall asleep easier. Plus its already hot and humid were I live.

I'd rather be cold

you can make yourself a little warmer by exercising (i.e. running). if your in the heat, there is nothing you can do to make yourself colder
