1993 ranger water leaking

i have water leaking from the engine. am wondering if it is a freeze plug because their is no water in the oil and i am pretty sure it isnt the block or heads. dont know where to locate the possible cause. in my manual it says possible water jacket plug or engine drain plug. can you help me locate them? or any advice would be great!
