1967 Chev Corvette Prostreet project progress.

Well the Firebird is drying, I need to leave it for a week. So I decided to start something else that I got yesterday, a 1967 Corvette 427. So far here are the plans for it, I was originally going to do it completely stock, but horsepower tempted me to take it further

Agent Orange Prostreet Corvette plans so far:
Gloss orange engine block, body and undercarriage
Gloss black suspension, frame, drivetrain and exhaust
Blown 427 Chevy big block, twin carburettors, bug catcher scoop
Nitrous injection, twin tank system
Mixture of blacks for the interior
Undecided on wheels
Twin wheelie bars
Shortened rear axles
No fenders in the engine bay

Here's some photos of the engine.

Seeming as I have no good sets of wheels for it, I post this:

WANTED!: Convo Pro Style wheels, 1/25th scale, with tires. Possibly from a funnycar kit

I need some wheels that would look good on this, and I have always liked Convo Pros. If anyone has some I'm willing to buy them from you, because I really need them.

Updates as progress happens. Thanks for looking

This is probably one of the best kits out there for you to swipe parts from for this sort of buildup. Model Express has one here if you're interested.

I got that in a 3pack kit. Has no slicks though, just firestone ET drag tires, quite wide. Looks good, I see your getting into this muscle/drag car theme.

Yeah sort of getting into it, I always have appreciated musclecars I've known quite a few people with absoloutely crazy musclecars that they have owned and sometimes as a daily driver.
I started the itnerior last night, I'll get some photos of that when it is near to done.

I'd been thinking of doing a kit along these lines, but somewhat "tamer", but nowhere near stock. Keep us posted

Re: 1967 Chev Corvette Prostreet project progress.

Nah, no Cutlass Supremes being built to my knowledge, that question was asked on LiL forums not too long ago, I think there is a year around there that is made in resin, but it is not a supreme.
I feel like this is a lacking thread, so I got some pictures of the interior and suspension parts so far, not much but it is progress. I painted te carbs and the scoop on the engine too, shit, I forgot it needs a fanbelt. Anyone know how to scratchbuild a blower fanbelt?

For the fanbelt, you can use casette wire.
Or, I found some plastic rounded wire for closing bags. It came good.
