Re: Top Speed Z28?

I've had my SS up to 145mph, but it's still got more left in it. I ran out of road and time to go faster...

My personal best in my 95 Z28 is 150 if the speedometer is correct. Anything after that would be a little pointless cause after 150 I can't tell anymore on how fast it will run. I've read that the LT1 average top speed is 156, but I'll let someone else see if thats true or not.

Re: Top Speed Z28?

Top speed would have alot to do with the engine, trans and mostly the rear. Your not going to top a 411 rear at the same speed as a 355. if you got the motor to push them.

...or a 2.93!

My '95 Z28 (Auto) hits 150 Mph at 6000 RPM in third gear. She still pulls plenty in fourth but like the other dude said I have no idea how fast I'm going once the needle gets stuck.
