Re: clio heater

if no bleed niples fitted, remove right hand heater pipe.(looking under bonnet.) start eng and let water run out until no air bubbles.keep topping up water!

clio heater

tried removing heater pipes etc... to remove air
it hasnt worked all the pipes are getting red hot and doesnt seem to be any air in the system is it worth trying the thermostat again or you think it may be a blocked heater radiator

Re: clio heater

if both the heater pipes are hot ,the water is flowing through the matrix.check to see if the flaps inside the heater are opening,

Re: clio heater

well it looks like the old clio might have died (RIP) It started leaking water bad from behind the exhaust manifold area at the weekend i removed one of the exhaust manifold bolts and the water was coming out from behind them think the head gasket may have gone now someone said could be £500 upwards so might scrap it now seems a shame its a lovely little car
does it sound terminal to u ?

Re: clio heater

I have a Renault Clio 1.2 Oasis - the Heat inside the car is at best Warm.
I have changed the thermostat, changed the water pump, flushed the system through with water, and with radiator flush, but it's no different.
The only time I can get HOT air through is if I run the car for a while with the FAN blower Off, then switch it back on - then I get about a SECOND of hot air.
This to me suggests that the water isn't circulating - but as I have said earlier, I've changed the water pump and flushed out the system ??? Can anyone help. [email protected]
