1997 Clio Airbag + wiring diagram
Hi!
My daughter's 1997 Clio 1.4 has now problem with Airbag warning light. I checked the cables under seats and found one cable broken. I fixed this broken cable but this didn't fix the problem  . Previous owner had replaced connectors below the seats with soldered joints. I measured resistance of seatbelt pretensioners by opening these joints and both seemed to be ok. Does anybody have any glues how to fix this situation? Also wiring diagram for Airbag / Seatbelt Pretension stuff would help a lot. Does this 1997 model Clio have an OBD socket and are there any inexpensive programs to read errorcodes for Airbag system? Help would be greatly appreciated Marko

no diagnostic codes are stored for airbags,the data link connector
can be found under glove box-12 pin oblong. light can only be put out with specialist equipment. you could try removing/replacing f10 in fuse box,to see if the light goes out. BE WARNED-WORKING ON THE AIRBAGS WITHOUT CORRECT INSTRUCTIONS COULD MAKE THE AIR BAGS GO OFF!!.
