stalling 2003 f-150???

my dad has a 03' f-150 supercrew with a k&n fipk, and a flowmaster exhuast.

the problem is that when we try to start it, it starts fine, but then as the idel goes down to 750 rpms its just dies, immeditly(spl). this started happening for 2 months now, at first not all the time, but as time went on it started doin this more frequently.

has anyone experienced this problem or heard of anyone else doin this? its not the ecu cause we have rest that thing several times. could it be the intake. i wanted to know before i bring the truck back to the dealer and have them blame it totally on the intake/exhaust.

oh and once it is started its is fine there is no more signs of problems just starting and staying started.

get rid of the k$n filter, you want horses get a chip or a rod. k,n are good possibly if you have a car or race. the filters should not be used for off road!!! they clog way to quick and then allow dirt and dust to pass through. take out your filter and look in the intake ill bet you theres dust and dirt caked in there that got past the filter
