Swapping VR4 into SL?

Hey guys...If i were to get a VR4 engine, and put it into an SL could i use my SL tranny? so i could keep it FWD? or would i have to get the VR4 tranny...and then of course the driveshaft, and rear end assembly. Also about how much would it cost to make an SL AWD? Also with the VR4 swap, wouold i be able to use all the stock mounts etc?

The engine would fit, but what makes the VR4 different from the SL is a lot more then the engine block.

You'd be better off buying a VR4 then trying to convert it to AWD.
