bigger engine

is there a bigger engine that produces more HP and will fit in the car?

no not really. hte 04 eclipses kinda sux.. you can spend lots of $$ and build a custom turbo package..

You can convert the 2.0 to a 2.3 stroker or install a 2.4 liter block with the 4g63 head. Thats about it.

u can put a 1 gen block in to a 2 gen 4g63-T...i think...i dunno if i even said it write...(am i right???)

You can do that, its called the 1gina2g swap using either the RRE or the more popular Magnus method. But its the same size as the 2 motor

The trick is to put a 2.4 liter crank in the 2.0 liter block with 1g or upgraded rods, and custom pistons like the 8.5:1 weiscos made for this hybrid. You end up with a 2.3 liter. The other option is to convert a 2.4 liter block from some mitsu/hyundia cars to work with the 4g63 head and swap that block in for a true 2.4 liter.
