targa top

would it be possible to get a targa top on the 94 3000gt platform?.......and if so where would i get it done or a place i can find to get it done

I have seen one person put a targa top on. I forgot the name but if you do a search at 3si.org you can find it. I am waiting of more info from the guy. 3kgts look so bad ass with a targa top

Yes it would be possible but there isn't anywhere you could go and get it done unless you're willing to give your car to them for a while and let them experiment. A few people are pursuing it but nothing concrete yet. I'm going to be satisfied with either a sun roof put in or a glass roof. But I'll definantly second the

Just a correction, there is a "kit" to make your car targa. Someone takes the tops and A pillars from spyders. He then gives directions that a skilled welder would have to follow. He has pictures of his car finished, they are beautiful, but I think it would look better with stealth sail panels.

I’ve seen the tagra on Stealths, but not on a 3000gt I bet it would be quite the sight. I’m happy with the Spyder since it has all the reinforcements so the top can be down. I’d be worried about structural rigidity of the coupe when it loses its top though.
