1993 Ford F-150 XLT 5.8L 351

Unfortunatly none of my kits that im working on have been going as planned so i decided to work on this bad boy. It looks like the average vanilla F-150 XLT short-bed, but its got the heart of a monster. The 351 Cubic Inch V8. Not no 302 here. (could be a good revell-fox mustang engine swap) It will be built basically box stock, but i might decide to throw on a suspension lift and dual-out-the-back exhaust. The paint is plasti kote Toyota green (dark emerald??)

I say prerunner: lifted, 5.8 351, desert guard on the front, no tailgate, bed mounted spare, roll cage and racing seats.

no. AMT just re-released this kit; along with the flare side version. Its the plus pack kit (paint glue and brush included) Heres a sneak peek

Still more to come such as bedline. But do you think i should go with the hood bug-flector. I think it would go well with my "stock/tuner" theam (?) (A truck thats mostly stock but has a few apearence mods on it)

Thats looks good. You should really put a nice exhaust on there. It really needs one.

I still can't believe that you sold it. A Chevy SS, then you got to a import drifter? I don't know.

Re: Re: 1993 Ford F-150 XLT 5.8L 351

Eugene, I'll tell you why it's gone, see I'd been having problems with my boss (been a real dick.) So he sarted cutting my hours on me, and claimed he had to drop my pay a little bit, now with utilities, rent, insurance on the truck, and the gas, I couldn't afford it all, so I put a for sale sign on the truck. It's okay though, the guy who purchased it is taking good care of it, he hasn't modified it any or done anything stupid to it. I see him driving it once in a while, and it still looks and sounds just as good as the days when I had it. I got the AE86 because it gets over 25mpg in the city. I just filled it up last week, put over 155miles on it, and the needle still hasn't moved except a little tiny bit from the fullmark, and insurance on it is so cheap.

Oh, I see. Sorry to hear about your money issues. Hopefully things get better for you. Thats some pretty good gas mileage for a car that old.
