Re: petrol and oil leak
First check your lines then fittings on the lines. After that I dont know what to check off the top off my head.

Re: petrol and oil leak
you need to think about the problem as two seprate leaks.
Firstly the petrol. Start by checking the hose that goes from the fuel pump to the petrol tank, they have a habbit of corroding where the pipe enters the tank. if not their then follow all the fuel lines, you should have some idea where to look because thats where the petrol will be on the road or were ever it has leaked to. When youv'e found where it's leaking from either replace the hose, pump, jubilee clip or what ever needs replacing ....EASY ![]() OIL LEAK. - this could be a little more difficult, again it's really a case in searching then replacing. if you are getting oil on the road where you have parked then chances are that either you oil filter seal has failed (£4- £5 from halfords) or again a hose. or if it is just making your engine bay really messy then its probably your rocker cover gasket that has gone or even worst it might be your sump gasket. good luck finding the leaks, |
