Quiet aftermarket exhaust ?

Any one know what brand performance cat-back or muffler I can get that has the least noise for a Del Sol ?

i have a civic, and i have a 5zigen fireball catback. it's not ricey sounding like a lot of other exhausts. it's very deep and the muffler is much smaller than most bee cans on the market, plus it has an angled tip. it's not super quiet, but it's at least much deeper than the average fart can.

I live in CA and the cops never hassle me unless I floor it near one, adn that was only the first day I had it. Haha. Just don't be driving crazy unless you know no cops are around. I love my fireball.

Quietest aftermarket exhaust I've heard was the APEX i World Sport cat back. I run it on my Civic and can hear the turbo whine over it easy.

Bingo. I put one on my friend's Integra GS and it sounds damn near stock, but with a low-pitched rumble at high rpms. For comparison, his intake is louder than the exhaust..

Re: Re: Quiet aftermarket exhaust ?

Try a Magnaflow, they're not that loud but still gives the throaty sound.

Thanks for the info. I was looking more that was closest to stock sounding and the Apex one looks like the best choice. I like hearing the intake or turbo spool more than the exhaust. I had a Magnaflow on my CRX and it was loud so I replaced it with a canister with a silencer but that did not help much. I like the smoother flow of aftermarket systems but with the noise, I might have to stay with stock.

Well the Apexi World Sport will give you all the free-flowing hp gains of any other exhaust, look better than the stock one, yet still retain stock sound. Him and I were riding side by side on the freeway last night with windows down, and I couldn't even hear it over normal road noise.

The Apexi World Sport is what I'm going for, but I can't find one for the Del Sol. Will the 92+ Civic HB system work on the Del Sol ? So far, I've seen similar design by Greddy SP Series and Tanabe G Power Medallion.

Definitely Apexi WS. I have it and I love it! I have a cold air intake and I hear it more than the exhaust. And on highway .. what a pleasure! 2 hours of riding with a loud exhaust is really a b**ch!
My

(Just saw it was already all said .. but now you have another satisfied owner )
