Twin turbo Diablo

I'd like to get to building a Diablo model eventually. I came across this picture of a Twin turbo application on the Diablo. I've tried my hands at something like this on a die-cast, but not very detailed. just wanted to share the pics w/ you because I was STUNNED when I saw that monster!!

Re: Twin turbo Diablo

You know that you have too much money when you can afford to twin turbo a Diablo!! Imagine the cost if you wound the boost up to high......

Re: Re: Twin turbo Diablo

DAMN! That pic means my turbo's are all wrong. Oh well, I built mine the way I thought it should work, so it'll stay as that.

I bet turbo lag is a beast though. You probably hit the gas and... and... and... there it goes. Well, that's how it would be if it didn't have the copious amounts of speed that Diablos start with.... Still, those would be no good for racing.

there is just wayyyy too much piping in the setup. that would lag up that engine like shit.

if the turbos were closer to the i/c's and the pipes were shorter, it could probably be usefull for racing. you just cant be a lead foot around every apex.

and is this a custom twin turbo setup, or is this off the Diablo VTT. cause im sure lamborghini could have thought of a better setup than that.

Yes, a model car of this monster could be cool... but there's no brand that have a decent Diablo model... They all look awefull. Italeri look like a Pick up truck, Fujimi don't have the curves right, neither monogram and the wheels seem like 12" high and 6" wide !! Ok, you can change it but the body is hard to modified to look right.
