Question Headers?

I lost one of the headers for my SS pickup, so I decided, tuesday I'll go pick up some brass rods and bend them to make headers, however, I don't know what size to get, what would be accurate for a 1/25 Big Block Chevy?

Could be a problem, the headers I was using were too big, as they were for a 1/24, that's why the 1/24 headers and motor wouldn't fit.

Brass is going to be tough to bend that tight...
I'd use soft aluminum wire or solder about .040 or so, gotta go with "eye-ball" scale.

Where would I get this, and what would it cost?

Re: Re: Headers?

run to home-depot or whatever, should be cheap enough to be feasible. a couple bucks if that.

Hardware store for the wire or solder...
Let me poke around a bit as I may have a spare set of headers.
I've got a big-block project too, but I was trying to clear my bench before I started digging up the parts I needed.

So, this is bendable, I take it? It doesn't matter the color, they'll be painted. BTW, is there a particular size (width wise) I'm looking for?

Re: Re: Re: Re: Headers?

like they're saying your going to have to eyeball it, bring the header you have with you for reference and go from there. soddering wire should be perfect many ppl use this to make headers. its cheap and its easily bendible with your fingers. Now get off your butt and go check it out.

Re: Headers?

Well, originally I lost the right header, so I figured I'd make new ones. I found the right header, but lost the left. I have all the good luck huh?
