Key Chime continues after key is removed

Hello; I had my Left brake light replaced (blown bulb) and oil changed at Jiffy Lube and since then the key chime continues after key is removed. Don't know if it is connected are not; can anyone advise: Car-2000 Buick LeSabre (that eats power window motors also!!!)

It depends on the speed of the chime as to what could be causing your problem. Your chime warns you of the headlights left on, your parking brake left on, or your key left in your ignition and the door open.

Since it is a 2000 Lesabre your problem might show up on a scan of your car computer systems and that would help isolate your problem.

It is a fast rate, like I have left the key in or head lights on; I have "twilight" feature; no indications that any doors "ajar" but I checked anyway. Does anyone think it is related to the recent bulb change, Jiffy Lube visit?

Take it to the dealer and have them scan the body computer, something will be out of whack and it will give you the clue on what is causing your problem.

I have seen many chime problems and assorted problems caused by a bad Body module.
