Radio stays on after key is removed on 99 S10

I just bought a 99 S10 4cyl. automatic and the radio stays on after key is removed but when you open the door it goes off.Is this normal?

yeah its supposed to do that its perfectly normal. most if not all gm's do that.

yes it is kinda wierd at first i thought my cd player was wired wrong at first
