'04 Camry steering not locking after key removed!
I got a few issues with new camry, couple of them salesman needs some training on, they don't realize not all Camrys have a security system of some type and not all have the transponder in the Keys, but one I want to ask the forum about is the locking steering wheel, if there is a lock position on wheel and you hear the clunk when the key is removed, wheel should lock, mine doesn't, anyone else see this? Thanks

Nevermind, you have to turn the wheel at least 180, then locks, dealer says that is normal.

Thanks for the info. I have been wondering about this for a long time. I will try it.

Your welcome, I also noticed that if you have the keys with black plastic and the valet key has nothing on it, all the keys don't have the chip in that disabled engine, if your valet key has gray plastic then all 3 will, my salesman was told all toyotas have chip in key and said you can not have copied, I tested copied key worked.
