Why do you care what colors your tails are, you cant even see them when driving.

Re: Anyway to clear the orange in 94 prelude tails?

yea im gonna take my orange out too, so itll be the stock red with the clear bottom part....and its jdm haha ^_^.....alrite anyway i think the way to do it not sour cause i havent done it yet but almost positive is you gotta take then entire piece out, after taking the piece out you place the entire thing into your oven at ilke 300 degrees or something.....leave for like 5-10 minutes until the plastic gets a bit soft, moldable, not the point where its melting, take it out carefully and peel the back off, then the orange piece will be right in front of you, pop it out, put plastic back on with some sort of adhesive, special glue of some sort like plaster kinda thing and put lights back and your set.

all clear? I wouldn't recommend the oven technique, i've heard of too many bad stories with that, i used a paint stripper on mine to soften up the adhesive, then just get a sheet of the stuff they put over flourescent lights from home depot or something, take out the clear/amber piece, trace it on the clear part and dremel it out, then simply replaced and put the light back together, and there you go

Exclamation

i just replaced mine last night w/ the carbon fiber ones and i own a 92 and it took me about 1hr 20min's...by my self that is bc/ you have to undo 4 bolts in the back of the taillights, after you open the cover, unscrew the 2 screws holding the casing for the bulbs, then carefully peel back the trunk liner and then you can get to the 4 bolts you need to unscrew w/ pliers or a wrench.
