89 GP dies when stopped and in drive

I have a 1989 grand prix, it stall when i stop, if i put it in neutral and keep my foot on the gas, it stays running, but acts like it is running out of gas. The filter has been changed and it has been pressure tested... could it be an oxygen sensor? If so, how do i ge to it. Thanks.

pontiac dies

Hi I had the same problem with my 1990 that I had owned and it turned out to be the IAC Switch on the throttle body it is a pretty simple fix but the sensor runs about 50 dollars
