can I add much horse power to a SOHC? Here are my mods.
My question is mainly for those who have a single cam. Can I get any horsepower out of one? My plans include AEM cold air, Indy intake, not sure on exhaust manifold yet but a good one, Catco catalytic converter, Borla dual exhaust, AEM ignition, MSD hotwires, #12 cam. That is all I can think of now but will put on a turbo intercooler and NOS when I rebuild a DOHC. A stock DOHC shouldn't have any problems fitting my 2000 neon SE should it? Anyways any help from the SOHC point would be helpful. I can always take those mods and add them to the DOHC right? My next goal is performance stuff cuz I just finished installing my new JVC SD-990, Power Acoustik 1200w amp, two 10" Warren G series JVC subs, with a 1.5 digital capacitor. Sounds sweet! Now to put my money where it'll count. See yah on the street!!!!

why not just buy the magnum SOHC out of the R/T or ACR neon, and just save your money for that, and then buy the performance parts, because some parts are not interchangable between the magnum and non-magnum engines, just my two-cents
