Subs are worth the money, may not be the best, but they are worth the cash spent, well depends on how much you are spending. I think they were running around 150 for 12"s at circuit city

I have 2 Alpine SWR-1241D's I had four in my truck and loved them excellent subs very clean and hard hitting certainly not a competion sub but for cruising the drag and getting noise violations there great.
I also have 2 For Sale brand new in box un opened 140 each +s
