How are the backseats in the z32 2+2?

I'm considering getting a 2+2.... but really how much room is there for passengers? I've read up on other forums that there literally is only enough room for one person back there...... Any opinions?

Re: How are the backseats in the z32 2+2?

Someone at the Nissan design department created a handy storage shelf in the behind the front seats of the 2+2 which was mistakenly labeled the "Back Seat" at a later date by some noob.

Seriously though there isn't much room at all. Two average-smallish people might fit back there but thats about it. And it certainly wouldn't be a fun ride.

Re: How are the backseats in the z32 2+2?

i own a 2+2 and honestly. you could MAKE it work if you absolutely had no other options to hold another shorter full grown person or 2 if the driver and shotgun person themselves arent too tall themselves.

but unless you plan on hauling children around under the age of 10 the seats are better used as a place to throw an extra sweatshirt for those cold nights.

i personally have had 2 girls both under 5'5" and rather petite in the back with me and my buddy in the front and i am 5'10" and he is about 6'0". and i must say, it was the most uncomfortable 5 mile trip i have ever taken. but i had no other choice as his car had broken down, which brings me to another point...don't buy a ford.

Re: How are the backseats in the z32 2+2?

The 2+2 version itself is nice because it has alot more room than the regular 2 seaters, and you have the option of adding another person in the back (legally). I say go for it!

i am assuming this in response to what i said. mostly because i found a new passion, that being motorcycles. i have found that for performance purposes, it is much easier and more pleasing to ride a sport bike than to deal with all the headaches of a performance car and trying to maintain to make it faster and reliable. its just not worth it to me anymore.

i have found that i want a nice higher end luxury car with some performance like a G35, BMW M3, or Audi S4 and then have my sport bike for my fun performance nice weather vehicle. its just much more pleasing at this point in my life. i will probably build one mean Z later in life but for right now, i need something more reliable, more economic, and more luxurious.

i will probably be keeping the Z until i can afford an M3 but we will see. i think above all, i have been screwed over so many times with this car that it has just been so frustrating that i dont even want to deal with it anymore.

come talk to me when you have been screwed over this many times over 1 car. you wouldn't know what to do with yourself if you have lost as much money as me over a stupid car.

sometimes research doesnt help you...especially when trusted Z community businesses are the ones screwing you over. trust me...i have made a few bonehead errors but i also have been screwed over without a hint of notice.

which brings me to another point, i havent been drunk in like 2 weeks. i think travis knows why but its a long story.

everclear+throwing up blood+assault on a nurse+battery with intent to cause bodily harm on a hospital security guard+jail+$10,000 bond = a realization that you may have a drinking problem!

but on the bright side, i am still able to land punches even when my BAC is .28, according to the bill i got in the mail from the hospital.

Let me know when you get your 90 day AA chip, I know a great bar in Montana that will cash it in for two rounds of beer for everyone in the joint.

Granted that's usually like 10 people but it's still a nice thought.
