ticking noise???

ok this just started happening the other day....i think it might be a bearing....
the problem is that when ever you make a left turn at moderate speeds, there is a ticking noise...by moderate speeds i mean like 20-40 around there, i cant here it in like a parking lot but can when turning onto a neighborhood street
o yea...i have a 94 cutty supreme 2 door, 3.1
also its only when i make a left turn, not a right, and its coiming from my right wheel, i dont have to turn the wheel that hard either, just a little bit....any help would be appreciated

Re: ticking noise???

By saying it only does this on a L/H turn you should be able to rule out the C/V joint on the axle. I'd be looking at a hub & bearing assy, they'll make noise when loaded, as in a turn.
Nice to see someone with a problem give a good description of whats going on & list what their driving & not just say it's a cutlass.

yea im in automotive technology and i kno what people need to know to diagnose a problem.... i just wanted another opinion... thanx... o yea, is there anyway to single out the bearings???? can i like put the car on jackstands and spin the wheel and if i hear a grinding noise or sumthing like that then i will know its the bearings??? also, do you buy bearings as a set or do you buy and inner and an outer??? if you can buy an inner and outer seperate, is there a way to pinpoint which bearing is bad so i dont have to buy both of them???
