Opinions about my mod setup(Fast Mr2)

hi i own a 91 mr2 turbo and i have done many mods to the engine, i have a greddy intercooler, dual feed fuel rail, greddy boost controller, Blitz BOV,K&N filter, Hks FCD, Apexi S-AFC2, 2-spal fans mounted on rear hood, supra 550cc injectors, Supra fuel pump, i upgraded the stock ct-26 turbo to a 62-1 trim done by turbonetics. What do you guys think about my setup? Would any body know how much horsepower i might have or even what times i would do at the track?

280hp will knock you into the 13s if you know what your doing with your setup your probably laying down about 240-260 depending on the boost your running. all that fuel and air you have dosent make much power if it's not tuned right you could have all the shit in the world and only lay down about 310 but if the same set up was tuned then you could lay down 400 you see what I'm getting at. Just dont be dissapointed at a dyno day becuase you only put donw 270 if you tune it it will run very good I would sell the S-AFC2 and save up for an EMS. you should invest in a downpipe and exhuast with what your running it's like squezzing your peepee into a needle eye lol but you are off to a good start you didnt cut any corners keep up the good work.later

with your mods, you should be able to run low 13s to high 12s. with my two, i was able to run a 13.7 e.t. with OEM motor (71000 miles) with only boost contoller and hks filter, on street tires. look at my sig. just a thought.

yea I meant to the wheels but your most likely putting down a bit less Id say more like 240-260. When I said that deal about the tunning I was just saying if you got rid of that S-AFC2 and got an EMS you would be able to probably put down around 300-310 on your setup becuase what you have now isnt tuned its just kind of thier you know. When I said same setup would make 400 I was just making an example. In order for you to get 400rwhp you would need to ditch the CT26 and upgrade to maybe a T-67,T3/T4,or like a GT25r and as far as other mods go invest in a fuel pressure regulator, down pipe, exhaust, you would see a very nice diffrence.later

Offering some facts here in regards to your set up.
I apologize in advance if this is anything you didn't wnat ot hear.

*The need for a Dual-feed fuel rail is myth.

*There is no need for the 550s/Supra fuel pump on your set up. Chances are they are hurting your performance by causing you to run richer than you would without them. On your set up, with the OEM pump and the OEM injectors, you would still be running rich.

*The BOV is hurting performance.
See here: http://jekylandhyde.madpowaz.com/bov.htm

As for time and HP predictions, no one could ever accurately tell you that over the net... yo uneed to go out and run the car.

You only need 250 RWHP (give or take 10) to get into the 12s.
300 RWHP will get you touching the 11s.

Hope this helps. Good luck wiht your car.
