I like the 2000 better, but I dislike the headlights on 'em. I think the pod-style has almost been overplayed, so unless they're really well done, they don't look really good. But there's one in my town with a big wing, and it looks freakin' awesome!

I think the yellow is kind of pastel-looking. Not my preference.

The yellow is really flat in pigmentation. I dont like that... I think the 2000 is cool. I wouldnt buy one but I think it has a chance to be seriously cool with customized by the right individual... Thats my opinion though.............

"SUBARU" is a Japanese word meaning "unite," as well as a term identifying a cluster of six stars which the Greeks called the Pleiades -- part of the Taurus constellation. According to Greek mythology, Atlas' daughters turned into this group of stars.

Umm...that green 2001 has.....14 lights up front! Too many for me. I think two sets of aftermarket fogs is a little too much. Not my style. I think getting some big Hellas in front instead (and on the 99) would be better.

Wow. I have to admit that some of those Tiburons are pretty nasty looking (that is nasty in a good way, of course). I don't give a lot of love and respect to them, because the packaging may look pretty sleek, but they don't have a whole lot to offer besides appearance and a phat warranty from what I've heard.

Hyundai may very well go on to be a great manufacturer of quality automobiles in time, as Toyota and Honda (for example) have done. But this takes years to achieve, more years of paying dues and producing cars of sub-top-shelf standards of refinement and quality than Hyundai has racked up so far. But they are on the right track, and I salute their efforts and approach to automobile manufacturing. They have drawn a small following, and success is only a matter of time.

I agree with JD, especially since Hyundai is 'on the comeback trail'
I like the newer Tiburons.
What is that stage 5 package thing??
To me, they're not very good unmodded (performance wise). BU tyou could get 300 hp reletively easily from that engine, and you could make it look even better. A very good platform, IMO.

Thumbs down

I don't like any of em really . . . but the 1999 model would be my pick of the two . . . the Tiburon 2001 has the most poorly done set of pod style headlamps I've seen . . .
