S14 w/turbo or S13 w/SR20DET - please attach pics!!!

I live in U.S. and my mind is set on a 240, but I don't know what year. I've been seeing a lot about the S13 w/ the SR20DET swap but it doesn't meet emissions. Has anyone heard of a feul additive that claims to pass any emissions test? I'm not sure what it's called or if it works. My other choice is an S14 with an aftermarket turbo. The S14 looks better stock than the S13 stock but w/ the silvia conversion on the S13, its a tough choice. How much are the body conversions on the S13? Is there any way to pass emissions with the SR20DET (maybe a temporary bolt on cat)?

I'd love to see some pics of any 240s out there, they all look good

i doubt you will pas emissions anyways. If you pass the smog part, thats great, but when (if they do) go to do the visual. You will fail. Most people who have sr's bribe the clerk because the SR20 is not a street legel engine.

This is why I love PA, There are no visual checks. And to pass everything else, just gotta know someone to do it for you. Its great...but back to your problem, this may not be a solution but move to PA. since i doubt you can then the bolt on cat would work.

i love florida cuz there are no emissions. cops can still bust you for NO cat though.

Hmmm...I havent seen any of my friends get busted with no cat here in PA, so either the cops dont no shit, or they dont care or even a combination of the two.
