Performance chips?
I was just wondering if anyone has tried one of these performance chips?
Do they really work? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=33597 http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...category=33597 I have a 2003 Alero 3.4 and I would like to get some more hp. I don't want to spend alot of money. Thank you |

Re: Performance chips?
The site says 20hp but I think that is if u have good exhuast and a good airintake system. You would probably get about 5hp using this.

Re: Performance chips?
sorry but both of those are trash. All they do is make your car run lean/rich, and in which case is never good for performance. If you really want some real world gains get a CAI (you can make one out of a prelude intake off ebay for 60 bucks) or a good exshust (slp, borla) other things the 3400 guys do are ported heads, larger throttle body. Running nitrous would be a good idea. check out www.gmperformancetuning.com or www.grandamgt.com
