Shipping, conversion and legalizing the Skylines to meet the US standard can be very expensive.
Is it same for vehicles such as Toyota, Supra - Nissan, 300ZX, - Honda, Accord, Civic - Mitsubishi, Lancer Evolution (Evo) - Mazda, RX-7 etc...... Vehicles like Accord, Civic, RX-7, 300ZX are exported into US from Japan. Do you have to go through similar headche with these cars? Does anybody know?

Re: Other cars
Not sure on the Evo 1 through to Evo VI's. The others have cars of simular build already there as new so no.

Re: Re: Other cars
How sure are you about this? I can purchase a Toyota Supra and ship it to the states and I can drive it? (I'm not sure, but head lights need to be adjusted and reenforcements on the door and fenders are necessary?)

not really.
you could theoretically import a JDM civic, supra, 3000gt, etc, and not have much for an issue, b/c there's already a US legal vehicle based on the same chassis here. you could look it up, if you wanted... |
