idle question

well here we go another dumb question from phishmann.
I was just wondering how many rpm's you guys have when your just idleing. i know its a stupid question its just im paranoid because of the alternator troubles ive been having, i think everything is wrong with my lude.
Im getting between 500 and 1000rpm's.

oh ya i forgot to tell u what i got
ive got a 95 honda prelude si automatic(wishin it was a manual)
Just got the alternator and battery replaced on it too.
