prolly a stupid question
this is probably a really dumb question but...
would it be possible in some way to install keyless entry in a car/truck that has no power locks??? could u put a switch or something in the door that makes them a power type lock?? i figured no but a buddy of mine said it was possible for only a couple hundred bucks...

Re: prolly a stupid question
Yes, it's possible - you just need to install, or have installed, servo motors into every door, they will be actually moving the lock mechanism, and then of course something, usually an alarm system, to control them.

Yep, do it all the time. I even do power window kits too. For the locks, I like DEI kits because the lock motors have switches inside. So, when you unlock a door with a key, it will unlock the others. Then if you go with a keyless remote or remote starter, it all just plugs together.
