Stupid people asking stupid questions!

You know what I hate! Stupid people who ring to speak to the boss and when I tell them he’s on the phone at the moment, they ask if I know how long he’s going to be! How the fuck would I know, I’m a PA not a mind reader!!!!

This happens so often, it’s incredible!!!

I’m much calmer now. I haven’t had a stupid call for about 3 hours and counting, and it’s Friday! and I’m looking forward to tonight and the weather looks like it might be good for tomorrow

When people call in and I have to tell them the person they want is out, they always ask "Do you know when he'll be back?" I just tell them, "I'm sorry Mr. _______ failed to leave me his personal schedule when he was on his way out."

I can totally relate to your thread Kat!! :hehehe: Honestly it is soooooo annoying. People think we have these magic telepathic powers or something! The other one that gets me is when you say that your boss is in a meeting and they ask when will he be out. Goddamit if I knew the answer to that I'd be making a hell of a lot more money that I am at the moment cos I'd be one of those psychics that all the rich and famous pay a tonne of money to to predict their futures! :hehehe:

I hate ppl that ring up with the wrong number. If they do it a second time i say, "hang on, i go get them"....then i piss off and just leave the phone and carry on with what im doing. I then go back about 10-15 mins later to hang up.......ive had one person still on the line after 10-15 mins still waiting though

At least the callers you get are from outside of your company....I have em where I work, from within the company.....we have two office one on the ground floor where I am at (production/ design staff) and one on the first floor where (accounts etc) and 80% of the time i'm the only one in the office whilst the others are out in the factory......so whenever upstairs call for one of the guys in my office I answer their phone.....and they'll ask is "Joe" there....my reply...well I wouldn't be answering his phone if he was there would I aaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhh they do this all the time.........

Haha, I’ve actually thought of being a real smart ass and saying… “yes I do know how long he’s going to be, he’s going to be exactly 3 minutes and 46 seconds. So if you try ringing in 3 minutes and 47 seconds you should be able to get hold of him!”. :hehehe:
