Reprogramming a Keyless Entry Remote

I purchased a 1998 Dodge Ram 1500 Conversion van and it included one (1) Keyless remote. I purchased an additional remote off e-bay and wondered if anyone could help me in reprogramming the remotes so my wife and I both could carry a fob. Thank you for all your vast knowledge.

not sure but i think that new you need the drb to program them...

is it facotry keyless, or aftermarket? if it's factory, then you should be able to do it through the ignition (on off 5 times or something,) it should be in the manuel, if it's aftermarket, 9 times out of 10 you have to turn your key to the on position, flip the valet switch on, off, 3 times, then push a button. the valet switch should be a toggle or push button switch located usually under the dash somewhere!! hope this help!
