Talking Wanted: VTEC head

I have a V18A block in my 90 integ LS wanting to do a vtec swap on the head. So if you have a head that's in good shape that will work or a whole engine send me a price to [email protected]
Thanks,
Jared

you mean B18A1 right? you can get them on ebay not sure how much i would trust people to bye engine parts off of there. not sure if Hmotorsonline.com sells just heads or not you can give them a call and ask them. have you tried junkyards. the head off of any B16 would be the best for price. and i suggest you need to learn everything you need before you do the head swap. also safe to rebuild your bottom end first too.

Yes rebiulding the bottom end is a must for a LS/VTEC. Also another must have is a girddle fot the main caps, this is often over looked and people wonder why their bottem end came apart when reving past 7k rpm
You also need a vtec oil pump b/c the oil pump now has to feed poressure to the vtec soleniod and the car is reving pst the rpm it was built for, so you need a oil pump that was designed to be reved to higher rpm levels.

Re: Wanted: VTEC head

I have a right hand drive Integra XSi, and I have my old worn pre-obd B16A that is fine it just has 60,000km and would be great for a swap w/ some tender loving care. ECU, 5spd tranny, Shiftlinkages, and wiring harness included, but new wiring harnes will be needed since my integra is right hand drive, and i'm assuming yours is left.
