1999 Tahoe Rearend Differential Problems
1999 GMC Tahoe LT 24000 miles. While towing camper (4000 lbs) Pinion bearings went bad and had them replaced. On the next camping trip the bearings went bad again! What's going on? Does anybody Know? Just bought vehicle a couple months ago. Any info on purchasing extended warranty for this SUV...thanks, Normrak

I have heard this problem is solved by using a full synthetic gear oil. I use mobil 75w90 and a lucas oil stabilizer addative, addative just my preference. The rear ends in these seem to be quite strong when well lubricated. Good luck.
