H23 block with H22 head good HP?

i got a 92 Honda Prelude with an H23 swap. If i was to put an H22 head on the H23 block would i be pushing out 230 hp? Would it even fit? somebody said the compression is good and would be around 230 Hp.

Re: H23 block with H22 head good HP?

did you search first? if you did than you can ask a question but theres not too much info on h23 vtec on this site anyways...and if your just going to put the head on than NO it wont make 230hp and not even close to it...now if you do the whole vtec conversion with some higher compression pistons than i still doubt youll be at 230hp but itll be a lot stronger than the stock h23...

If you can't find one of the 12212342324 million threads online about this, here's my opinion:

Not worth the risk, time, money to do it. Buy an H22. You'll have a better, more reliable setup that you can more readily modify..

(I love these trendy H22/H23 posts...........)
