Which cat-backs are better?
1) Apexi N1

better meaning????? if your talking about prices you can find them out yourself. but each person is going to tell you differently on which one they like the best. id say overall vote would be for the N1

Re: Re: exhaust systems

again... people are going to tell you differently from what they like. depending on what you already have done and the size of the piping you will get different performance gains. also add to the list the thermal cat-back.

For a turbo car, I would choose none of those, but thats just me. I prefer exhausts made by DSM specific companies. Not overpriced bling blang brand name POSs. But people do use those ones, and like them. I like BR and RRE, though my current 3" system I made myself. Avoid ones that bolt up to s stock cat, etc. You'll always have to eal with bottle neck, or modify later. Get the full turbo back at the same time to avoid this. If your refering to a NT car, then ignore everything i said

He's N/T.
in that case I'll go Greddy Evo because it has a bigger muffler and wont be loud and high pitched

Magnaflows (or dynmax ultraflow) sound good on turbo cars though. MAinly because the turbo is a muffler in itself...

i have owned the apexi, and i believe it is one of the best for the eclipse. only prob is that its 2 1/2 pipe. 3" is better for turbo. but apexi is good because its got less bends than other exhausts. Less bends=less back backpressure

Yeah, you cant make a turbo car sound ricy. My buddy bought his Talon, it had a Ractive on it, and it didnt sound bad at all.

On the apexi 3" DP, make sure you keep an eye on the flex section. Many of them fail after a little time. Its VERY short... Unless they corrected that problem.
