Who else has this problem?

I don't know what to get. I have a list of what I want. I just don't know what to buy. I'm always looking for new ideas.

I'm having a t.v. molded into my back hatch. I'll be using a 10.4" monitor controlled by a Pioneer indash unit that plays dvd/cd/mps/wma files. it basically does everything but make coffee. i also just got an Xbox to hook up as well. very exciting! i also believe i'm going to be getting a neon under car kit. i have a silver car with chrome wheels (firebird of course). which neon color should I go with? i'm thinkin blue or red. red will go with my interior lighting the best. but i've always liked the blue color. and figure with the indash kit, my lighting is going to change anyway. my dash guages are going to be changed to white possibly as well. i'm still thinking about that though.

Its is very wrong to treat a Firebird like it is some kind of import. Why waste your money on features for the passengers when your driving(DVD). If I was you which I'm not by your taste in ricing a Firebird out, I would spend your money on a cat-back and cold air intake. Do what you want to your car though.

A Firebird is a car for driving, as any performance car is. It is built to be fun for the driver. A good stereo is all you should need. (Hell, I don't even bother with that lol).

If you wanted a car for that sort of multimedia you should have gotten a minivan, they have lots of space good gas milage and can fit a lot more people to watch a TV then the Firebird heh.

I remember seeing a guy with a really nice late 90's Ford Winstar that was a blase to go anyway for a long period of time, 2 LCD screens a playstation and a great sound system, plus all the comforts of space for tall guys (like myself) and some damn nice chairs.

Oh well, not my car and not my thing.

I do have problems choosing what to spend my money on as well. I have a couple things to go heh:

I owe the Bank of Dad $1500 for a tranny, as well as I want a new touch-up paint job for another $1800 and then a whole bunch of engine mods. Ya heh, deciding what to buy is hard. Probably easier for me because everything is about being faster in the 1/4 mile.

Yeh dont rice it out..treat like a firebird should be treated....Get some 15 x 10 Cragar SS with some 295 60 15 BFG's..make sure they hang out and some 15x 3'' rims up front. Dont forget the snorkel scoupe and a bunch of decals on the rear window and the Motley Crue Tape.. Just Playing dude. Its its a T/A or Formula Please by performance parts for it. Its its just a 6cyl just sell it and get a v8 model. Performance 1st looks last.

you're right, it is my car. i like that! but, everything will be hidden. it'll be very tastefully done.

everything has to be hidden, because it does work for the popo (that's what the gangstas call the police here). there is strobes and siren. everything is hidden. i can open it up to be a show car, or police car. we also have a green intrepid that's tricked out too.

performance is important. and it won't be done with an import taste. it's an american car. and only american parts are used. exhaust, supercharger, typhoon intake, and ram air are all being added. don't worry about the performance. it'll be there. gotta make things look pretty though. and make people's jaw drop.

i was thinking about molding 1 cup holder in each door. taking out the middle console and putting "toys" there. just can't think of really what to put there. i'm gonna have an air bag kit for the suspension to drop 4". i could put controls there. as well as popo stuff (i.e. radio) which will take up a lot of space.

this car is for me. there are no passengers. no one is allowed in my car. i've had it for 1 year and 3 months, and i only have 5500 miles on it.

i was thinkin about run flat tires as well. that way i can get rid of the spare tire, jack, tools and anything else that ways the car down. i can't seem to find a price on run flats, other than for corvettes. and i know the price for those are outrageous anyways. anyone know where i can look?

another mod i'm doing is getting a gas actuator to automatically open and close my trunk. therefore, the trunk opens, tv/computer screen drops down. as Emeril would say "BAM!"

use your imagination people. what can you do with a car? with no price limit! and you want everything, but at the push of a button, everything is exposed.

i'm not sure who said "if it's a V6, sell it, and get a V8." but you need to think logically, and not with your ass. i don't need a gas sucking, high risk car. my money needs to go to fun stuff, not to other people for no f'in reason. who needs 700+ horsepower, when the speed limit is still 70 mph. this isn't a racing car. it's a "whoops, you ran that red light, pull your ass over car!" ;-) very entertaining!!

There are small towns both about 30 minutes down the highway from my city (both directions) they just run a nondiscreet Corvette at one and a Camaro SS at the other. They do a lot of highway policing.

Why would you get Ram Air with a supercharger? I don't even think thats possible (but I'm only vaguely familiar with carbs and blow through SCers).

With unlimited money I would have a 2002 WS6 with LS1 and a cartek performance kit (Heads/Cam) fully ported LS6 intake, shorty headers with dual 3" exhaust into performance mufflers. Strengthened transmission and Nitto Drag Radials on 17x9's in back. I would then start to work on the cars handling even more.

Definatly a leather interior with nice deck and stereo. Nothing spectacular but fast and fun.

Oh ya, it would be black with dark tinted windows and the rims would be powdercoated black as well.

Either that or a complete to spec restored 1973 455SD Trans Am 4 speed with a new cam and milled/ported heads. I would port the exhaust manifolds and keep everything else stock. (This would be white car with blue stripe). It would look stock from the outside, and without checking the cam or removing the heads no one would know what was changed. God I want a 73 Trans Am. Mmmm. (White Leather interior or black). Original AM/FM radio.

or possibly a 70.5 Trans Am with the same things done to it.

God thats a beautiful car.
