2 UM's In the US.........

Ok. here is my problem.

Right now there are 3/2 UM's (un-identified mclarens) in the US.

1st: Seth Neimans: This is clearly the car that was in Newport Autosport and is NOT the car that was/is in Motorcars Intl (i'll get to that later) So what i am asking you is does anyone have any info on this car? It was listed as a 1994, meaning it could be 012.

2nd: The 2nd Motorcars intl car (yep, the newport autosport car was also brokered by Motorcars intl, i just called them up and they said they HAD 3, all are gone). Now, one of them is definatyley chassis 012 (dark grey) the reason is that the interiors don't match (interior can't have been changed because that would mean that there was still one mystery mclaren)

3rd: the black hd kitted car in Texas. Has anyone heard of this car since it left motorcars intl and into the hands of the Gonzales'?

basically i am saying, does anyone have any info on the 2 silver mclarens?

Seth Neiman's car was not the Newport Autosport car, nor was it the car from Motorcars Intl. Those cars are one in the same and Neiman's is different.

The interior of the car seen at Newport Autosport is identical to the car of the same color that Motorcars Intl sold. The Newport/Motorcars F1 had dark grey or black leather interior/seats with similar dark grey or black suede seating surfaces with yellow inserts in the folds on the driver's seat.

The interior in Neiman's car has light grey leather interior/seats with dark grey or black suede seating surfaces.

I don't know the chassis number of either car.

Stever Wall (Motor cars intl) and Newport Autosport borkered the same car, one of Petriks, 045 I think without looking it up. The other car that Wall was invovled with was 072, Thomas Gonzales car. Dick Fritz was invovled with this car as well, handling the "legalization" through JK. More questionalbe dealings.

Well that info changes some things...

If the Newport/Motorcars car was #45, then I have my doubts that Lawerence Strohl's car is really #45. I'll have to try to find where I got that info and see which one seems more accurate. I could swear that someone mentioned Strohl's car was a former Petrik car. Hmmm....

Anyway - thanks for the info gerd.

mini_magic - I've never seen this photo you are referencing - silver with a white interior. I may have it, but it wasn't a Motorcars Intl car to my knowledge. The only two I'm familiar with them offering were the Newport car and the Gonzales car.

well, here is where my problem lies:

here is the "white" interior pic, it could be that the guy who took the photo has a flash, but would a grey interior come out this white?

now compare this to this pic. is it possible to have such contrasting colors in 2 pix of the same car?
