Cool Do any of you know if the EVO VII will be an RS2 or the GSR when it comes to the US

From what I have heard from private dealers who are offering the RS2 now for an astronomical price, the GSR does not come in LHD. The RS2 is the only car that comes in LHD. Now to me that would suck....Cuz the RS2 does not have ACD and AYC which is one of the cars finer points.

hello

since GSRs and RS2s are the same car, minus some details.(pwr windows, locks, a/c, ayc, acd)
it would be very easy for mitsu to make GSRs lhd, or RS2s with ayc/acd etc.
besides, these are japanese car model names, once the EVO arrives in US, a RS2 might come fully loaded.

i don't think anyone in the US buys cars with no power windows anymore. yet, i hear the US getting RS2 model

From what I heard there will be only a RS and a full spec model RS2 in LHD. I'll be visiting the inporter in 2 weeks time from now. Might hear more news from them then.

Cool

So we are getting the RS2 with no ACD and no AYC. Plus a price tag of 30,000. Now what kind of a deal is that? I may be an EVO VII fan but this is rediculous. If it does not come with ACD or AYC then why buy an EVO VII when the Subara Impreza comes with all wheel drive but no ACD or AYC. Where is the edge in handling that mitsubishi is supposed to have. If it is coming as an RS2 it is just as good as the subaru Impreza with the 220hp. Mods aside, which will cost me another 3G's to make it go up to 276hp. So in the end I am looking a 30G's not to mention markup, plus another 3G's so in the end, we walk out paying 36G's+ for a car that really does not have all the goodies. Hmm...what is mitsubishi thinking. Are they trying to sell the car based on loyalty to the name or the actual product itself.
