# 3 spark plug well full of oil
Just bought a 91 civic si. changed the plugs and found the # 3 sparkplug well was full of oil. Any ideas what could cause this? The valve cover gasket was changed about 3 months ago...

it could either be the spark plug seals, or the piston rings in that cylinder.

Definitely the rocker-cover seals. They would have maybe done the gasket - but few mechanics put new "O" rings around the sparkplug bores
You may be able to use gasket sealant on them - but I'd go to Honda and get new ones AND sealant
