center exhaust

My dad saw a camaro with these 2 big oval exhaust tips in the rear center of this camaro instead of one tip on each side. He wanted me to ask if there is a aftermarket exhaust system with that or does that have to be custom made. Anyone know what im talking about? Where can he buy that exhaust? Oh yeh he said it was a 94+ camaro but not sure if it was LT1 or LS1

It's an SLP optioned exhaust, called the SLP CME (center-mounted exhaust). It was an option for the 2002 model year, but could be ordered independently for any of the LS1 cars. It wouldn't take much to get it to fit an LT1 car either. You can get one from SLP Performance parts, or get one through an independent distributor. The kit also comes with the bumper extension to make it blend in with the rear of the car. You just paint that to match when you get it. Hope that helps...
