My first model(Revell Civic hatch) Progress pics

I actually started a Tamiya 350Z first but decided to work on the revell so if i mess up its 10bucks gone not 30. I think i caught the modeling bug..I bought the 350z just for something to do between RC races and bought 3 more kits during the next few weeks I blame you Spoolin

I know its not the best but i dont think its TOO bad. Ive learned a few things. The body was sprayed today so i guess it will be complete in about a week or so.

The modeling bug is hard to stop, isn't it? You buy one, and you're hooked.

wow looks good for your first kit, I remember my first glue kit (back in the day there where ALOT of snap kits on the market so I built those for a while) that was before Tamiya paint, so it was brushed painted and I used that tube glue that got everywhere, it was a glue bomb

it isnt the orange peely look im worried about...its the scratch in the paint in the body line and one tiny one on the hood. I put on a little too much paint and so it kinda built up in the door lines and like an idiot i touched it with my fingernail when it was still wet.

First off, looks awesome.

Secondly, you could sand it, or put some more(2 or 3) coats on it.

BTW, love the black valve cover

Thumbs up

Wow thats awesome! I'm working on my first kit as well. An Audi. Unfortunately, I dont have a digi camera though. Anyway, I wish mine looked half as good as yours atm.

Spoolin: I LOVE that color of the Pug. You seem to like making racers to street. Thats awesome! You should try the Volvo 850 Saloon. You chose wisely.
