2000 Integra LS - 17" Tire question

Does anybody with a late model Integra know if I could fit this tire size without other mods?

215/45/17

I looked on discounttiredirect.com and they said the tires were too big for my car, but I saw a simlar Integra in a parking lot with 215/40/17's and it looked like there was plenty of room for a slightly taller sidewall.

Anyone know if this will work?

is the car lowered or do you plan on lowering it? if so, i would just go with 205/40/17 instead of the 215's.
