Stealth a few questions gas/snow etc

Hey

Im lookin at a 93 dodge es stealth with 146,000 miles. Its in mint condition all the outsides are great the leather int is a lil banged up but hey its leather. Under the hood it looks like everything was taken out, cleaned and put back in. So he obviosly has taken care of his car. Its got a performance intank/ exhaust/ PW/PL/ AC/ no Cd player.

He wants 5grand for it when it books in KBB for 3,770

Ever since it was out of the factory it has had synethitc oil and super unleaded gas only. Thats good! But, super unleaded is expensive and you are supposed to use it, what if you dont? What if you use Plus or just regular.

Also how does it do on gas mileage? (range)

And lastly, snow! its a front wheel drive! will i be stuck all the time or be able to make it around np on plowed roads!

thanks!

My '93 base model had 79K on it and the outside was in good condition, as was the interior and I payed $5K. I'd say try and talk him down a bit but 5 isn't an insane number. The lowest reccomended octane for a sohc is 89 and for dohc is 91. I ran regular for a 'lil while when I first bought the car then switched up. Synthetic is good, keep that up. Not sure on gas mileage though. And for snow, you'd think that a fwd car with over 3L ibs would have decent maneuverability but with mine this past winter I didn't find that at all. Maybe it was because I didn't have winter tires on but I seemed to lose traction alot. Never bad enough that I lost control but I definantly felt the car shimmying side to side a little more often then I would have liked. Plowed roads you should do ok as long as you aren't stupid. Slow turns, easy on the gas, etc and you'll be fine. They are great cars and I give em
