the 2000 model yr was the last yr they made the v-6 for the 2 door accords . Is that right and if it is why in the heck ? Their sweet as hell and a v-6 in it isnt that bad

I've never heard that. According (ha! get it, "Accord" -ing!) to Honda's web site, they make a V6 Accord Coupe as of the 2001 model year.

I purchased a 2001 accord v6 EX

Same as 98-00' accept I have automatic climate control, different stock bumpers, even though I have a gd 2000 body kit, and yes it only comes in auto tranny =(

Besides that its nice, comfortable, gets alota looks, its a good highway car 100mph to 125mph with ease.

Currently, as in now, there are no manual v6 2000 and up accords(6th gen). If you know of one, please by all means, post a pic. As far as I know and seen, since I work near a Honda dealership, only the 4cyl come with manual. Now, that Honda is coming out with a new one is a different story. I hope they come out soon with one, cuz my ass is tired of seeing every other car manufacturer offer manual for all model trims.

There was NEVER a manual v-6 accord ( the 6th Generation )... the only 5 speed to be had on the 6th gen (1998+) is on a 4cyl.

okay, i am in good with they guys at my local honda dealership and they told me that there was not a v6 coupe available, but it will be in the future, AFTER they quit making the prelude. the coupe is replacing the prelude after 2002 as im sure all of you know. if not, i just verified it with the Honda dealership. THE V6 COUPE IS REPLACING THE PRELUDE! That sux! but, after 2002 the accord coupe will come im manual!! i am buying a prelude this year because first, one they are not making them any more, and two because i love manual, and if i can't get my coupe accord in standard, i don't want it. supposedly the "sport manual" is supposed to be as good as or better than the manual. I doubt it, but it is work looking into!

Accord V6's only comes in an auto tranny ever since 1995 when the v6 was first introduced but for the 95-97 models the v6 only came in a 4 door. 98- current model year v6's came in coupe and 4 door models with auto tranny only. as for a manual v6 i don't know i don't think so they will ever come out...

No, Honda has in fact confirmed plans to release an Accord V6 with a manual transmission. Honda recognizes that in order to make the Accord and 3.2 TL a possible market share competitor for the BMW 3 series, the manual tranny is a must have option.
