Your Top Choice

If you could live in any country what one would you choose and why?

I am going to let this one get some replies before I go this time.

Tough call for me. I would want to visit a place first to see if I reall like it there, and Ive only seen a bit of Canada and a tiny bit of the U.S

Sweden and Switzerland. I would actually like to live in both, just at different stages of my life.

Oh, sure! Make it a tough question!

Well, I've never been, but I've always had a giant fascination with Oz... But since I don't like the heat/sun/ocean that much I suppose I'd have to go primarily with my other answer: Germany/Switzerland. I still speak German fairly well, and I love the Alps! They look so surreal. It's amazing! Oh, and I'd get to see the "Passion Play" in Oberammergau every 10 years! oops! Looks like I'd miss my 10 year reunion... darn!

I guess I feel a bit lucky in a way. As I was born and raised in the good ol USA, Chicago. Where I spent my first 31 years of life. I have been to all but a few of the 50 continental states and each one presented different forms of living and cultures.

I then meet a Kiwi gal in a chat room and after 2 years of an online relationship which included some $12,000, yes that number is correct and probably low, phone bills, I moved to New Zealand.

New Zealand is a truely multi-cultural country which like the States has many good points and bad points. Given the fact said Kiwi gal and I are no longer together I have still stayed here carring on my rather truely international life.

I do miss a great many things about the United States, but there is also a truely heap of things I do not miss. Most of it was political and ideals.

New Zealand is my home now, though I am a true "Yankee" through and through. As Primera man stays so breifly and eloquently, there is not much crap going on here, or in better words. New Zealand is a true neutral country. The crime rate here is nearly a non-event, but when something does happen in either the North or South Islands it makes national head lines.
We are able to tune our cars to the hilt providing the meet a standard warrent of fitness, with certain mods requiring a low volumne mod cert. ( fair enough ), the air is shockingly clean and the waters are even cleaner. For the most part the average Kiwi family are layed back and easy going taking each day as they come but are also eventure or thrill seekers which can make for an interesting night of TV watching hahaha.

All things considered New Zealand has so much to offer what I as in individual have looked for.

Peace

I've been lots of places

I have been to all sorts of fun countries, carribbean islands, and all the "fun" states, and nowhere can touch the town I grew up in, at least the way it was when I was 16 and had just gotten my driver's liscense. everyone in the world needs to visit Raleigh, NC, USA. you won't regret it.
