Where and what was the speed limit when you reached your top speed?
Sorry for adding yet another thread about your top speed. But this is something that interests me.
I reached my top speed on a back-road with a speed limit of 45 mph. Edit: Forgot to add that my speed was 110.

wow 75 mph speed limit, in NJ the highest speed limit is 65 and that is only on parts of the 3 major highways in the entire state, everywhere else is 55 and below... in my town, there is a 4 lane road (2 lanes in each direction) with a 10 foot median in the middle, and this road is like a back country road in the MIDDLE OF NOWHERE and the speed limit is 45, and there are cops all over the place its so pathetic... instead of the cops worrying about people doing 60 or 65 in a 45 in the middle of nowhere, they should be in the middle of some highly populated residential areas where the limit is 25 and people fly by at 50+, my town sucks...
anyway... I did 110 in a 35 in my supercharged XR7... then I pushed past 110 in a 50, which was a highway trying to follow my friends racing (01 Mustang GT vs 91 Camaro Z28) who were both pushing 135

92 in a 75 zone and that was with my volvo. The stratus I haven't gotten it on long enough roads with not alot of traffic but with that I hit 85 in a 30...my dad has got it to 115 it a 60:bandit:
