Help! '91 Previa electrical problems

The other day we were driving down the interstate and suddenly the
AC/heater fan stopped dead, about 5 seconds later, it
stuttered...started back, and ran fine.

"Hmmm...wonder what that was all about?"

About 5 days later, my wife informs me that not only is the AC blower
dead, but also the electric door locks, power windows, clock, radio,
and dashboard lights...they are ALL dead.

Every fuse and relay in the main fuse box on top-center dash checked
out fine. Also, the main fuses right at the battery terminal were ok.

It seems to me like it's a relay problem? One guy said it sounded
computer related? Another said wiring? I didn't smell any
electrical shorts when it first happened.

Any suggestions?

I don't think a relay would cause that much kaos. all that circuits might share a common line, in which a fuse might be out. did you check it with a test light? put in a fuse if it is bad and run it, if it pops you got a short.
if it takes a long time to blow, try putting in a smaller fuse so it will take shorter to blow and you can definetly see if you do have a short. I don't know how new your van is, but computer. ..... I don't think would
cause all that to go. try checking the back of the fuse panel (inside box)
or behind the instrument cluster for a loose connection also if fuse is good. lets see ..... well that's the only thoughts I could muster off hand
so I'll leave it at that before I confuse you any more..... goodluck.

Thanks for your help and suggestions. I discovered (through a Previa forum on Yahoo) that there's a link (three prong connector) about a foot away from the hot post side of the battery that was corroded. I simply hard wired the link and by-passed the connector.
